Accessibility Statement

ClerkFees's accessibility commitments and how to report a problem.

Effective July 15, 2026ClerkFees

ClerkFees aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Fee data should be usable by everyone who files.

What is implemented

  • Fee tables are real HTML tables with scoped header cells, readable by screen readers and printable for route folders.
  • Status and change indicators pair a text label or glyph with any color; color is never the only signal.
  • Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 on all reading surfaces.
  • The core paths (search, county fee tables, signup forms) are keyboard navigable with visible focus.
  • Forms have programmatic labels and inline, text-based error messages.

Limitations

Linked source documents are hosted by courts and other government bodies and are frequently scanned PDFs; we cannot control their accessibility. Where we can, we surface the figures from those documents as accessible HTML on our pages.
